HYPEDDL PRIVACY POLICY

This is the privacy policy for HypeDDL, a Chrome browser extension that automates download gate steps on hypeddit.com.
WHAT DATA DOES HYPEDDL STORE?
HypeDDL stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.sync):
- Your name, if you choose to enter one in the extension settings. This is used to auto-fill name fields on Hypeddit download gate pages.
- Your email address, if you choose to enter one in the extension settings. This is used to auto-fill email fields on Hypeddit download gate pages.
- Your custom comment list, if you choose to enter comments in the extension settings. These are entered into Hypeddit's comment fields during gate automation.
- Extension configuration values: popup timeout (milliseconds), step delay (milliseconds), and auto-connect SoundCloud toggle (on/off).
All of this data is entered voluntarily by you and stored entirely within your browser. If you use Chrome sync, this data may sync across your Chrome browsers through your Google account. That is standard Chrome behavior, not something the extension controls.
WHAT DATA DOES HYPEDDL COLLECT?
None. HypeDDL does not collect, transmit, or share any data with external servers. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, and no server-side component of any kind.
WHAT DATA DOES HYPEDDL SEND TO THIRD PARTIES?
None. HypeDDL does not communicate with any external server. The only network activity that occurs while using HypeDDL is the normal page requests to hypeddit.com and soundcloud.com that happen as part of the standard download gate flow - the same requests your browser would make if you clicked through the gates manually.
WHERE DOES THE EXTENSION RUN?
HypeDDL's content scripts run exclusively on:
- hypeddit.com (to automate download gates and display the control panel)
- soundcloud.com (to display the batch download panel on playlist pages and to find Hypeddit download links on track pages during batch mode)
- secure.soundcloud.com/authorize (to optionally auto-click the OAuth "Connect and Continue" button, only when the OAuth flow was initiated by Hypeddit and only when you've enabled this setting)
The extension does not run on any other websites.
DOES HYPEDDL USE COOKIES?
No. HypeDDL does not read, write, or access any cookies.
DOES HYPEDDL USE REMOTE CODE?
No. All code is bundled within the extension package. No code is loaded from external servers.
HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
Open the extension popup, clear any fields you want removed, and click Save Settings. Alternatively, uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "last updated" date.
